Laser-Based ELDS™ Technology with Harmonic Fingerprint Detection
The Senscient ELDS™ Open Path Gas Detector combines laser-based Enhanced Laser Diode Spectroscopy (ELDS™) with patented Harmonic Fingerprint technology to deliver highly selective gas detection while virtually eliminating nuisance false alarms.
Unlike conventional open path technologies, ELDS™ uses tunable laser technology to detect specific target gases within a narrow section of the absorption spectrum where interference from water vapor, fog, rain, and other environmental conditions is significantly reduced. Harmonic Fingerprint processing verifies the presence of the target gas, helping improve detection accuracy and operational reliability in demanding industrial environments.
