    By analyzing multiple infrared wavelengths simultaneously, the FL5000 accurately distinguishes genuine hydrocarbon flames from common false alarm sources such as sunlight, hot equipment, welding, and other infrared interference. Continuous Optical Path Monitoring (COPM) automatically verifies detector health, helping maintain reliable performance over time.
